Paediatric First Aid (Early Years First Aid)

This course is designed for the childcare sector. It is delivered to the standards set by the National Childminding Association and The Paediatric First Aid Association. The course is also recognised for the purpose of registration as an Early Years professional and supporting evidence for those gaining an NVQ in Child Care and Education.

Course Duration

   12 hours over two days

   Competency in the areas covered is assessed throughout the course

Certificate

   A certificate will be issued on successful completion of the course and will for valid for 3 years.

   National Paediatrics  values the childcare provider and recognises that a candidate’s exposure to first aid scenarios after they have attained their qualification may be limited. That’s why we offer updates within the 3 year period of your certificate. That way, you can refresh your skills before you have to renew your certificate!
